Welcome to Edunity.ng (“Edunity”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, services, learning platform, and related offerings. By accessing or using any part of our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By using the Edunity.ng platform, you confirm that you are:
- At least 18 years old, or have obtained verifiable parental/guardian consent;
- Capable of entering into a legally binding agreement;
- In compliance with these Terms and all applicable laws.
2. Our Services
Edunity offers remote, structured 16-week bootcamp programs in areas such as technology, digital skills, and career development. Our services include:
- Access to online courses and live mentorship;
- Assessments, project work, and certifications;
- Career guidance and community access.
We reserve the right to update or discontinue any part of the Services at any time without prior notice.
3. User Accounts
To access our Services, you may be required to register and maintain an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and current information during registration;
- Keep your login credentials secure;
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
Edunity is not responsible for any loss or damage arising from unauthorized access due to your failure to safeguard credentials.
4. Payments and Fees
- Program fees are outlined at the point of enrollment.
- Full payment or an approved installment plan must be completed before course access is granted.
- All fees are quoted in Nigerian Naira (₦) unless otherwise specified.
- We reserve the right to revise pricing, but changes do not affect already-enrolled students.
5. Refund and Withdrawal Policy
- Withdrawal within 7 days of start: Eligible for a 75% refund (less ₦5,000 administrative fee).
- After 7 days: No refund, but learners may defer their participation to a future cohort within 6 months (one-time deferral allowed).
- To initiate a withdrawal or deferment, contact support at support@edunity.ng.
6. Code of Conduct
Edunity expects learners to:
- Engage respectfully with peers, instructors, and community members;
- Avoid cheating, plagiarism, and disruptive behavior;
- Maintain professionalism during classes, forums, and collaborative sessions.
Violation of this code may result in suspension or permanent expulsion from the program without refund.
7. Intellectual Property
All materials provided through Edunity, including videos, texts, logos, software, designs, and assessments, are the property of Edunity or its content providers and protected under copyright and intellectual property laws.
You may:
- Access materials for your personal, non-commercial use;
- Not reproduce, redistribute, or publish content without explicit written permission.
You retain ownership of any original work or projects created during your learning, but Edunity may request permission to showcase such work for promotional purposes.
8. Limitation of Liability
Edunity provides its services “as-is” and does not guarantee specific outcomes such as employment, income level, or skill mastery.
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages;
- Our liability for any claim arising out of these Terms shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the relevant service.
9. Privacy
Your use of our Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using Edunity, you agree to the collection and use of personal information as described in that policy.
10. Third-Party Links
Our platform may contain links to third-party websites or services. Edunity is not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third-party sites.
11. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to our Services for violation of these Terms or any conduct deemed harmful to the Edunity community.
Upon termination:
- Your access to course materials will be revoked;
- No refunds will be issued unless explicitly stated otherwise.
12. Modifications
We may modify these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified via email or a prominent notice on our site. Continued use of our Services after changes constitutes acceptance.
13. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Lagos, Nigeria.
